I'll be upfront — this is one of the most unusual tops I own, and that's exactly why I love it. The BAPE collaboration gives it that loud, distinctive look that you either completely get or absolutely don't, and I am very much in the camp of people who completely get it. It's a genuine conversation starter, and I've had more than a few double-takes wearing it out. The fit is spot on — true to size, no surprises, so just go with your normal size and you'll be fine. My only gripe, and the reason I've knocked one star off, is that the material has started to bobble slightly with wear. Nothing dramatic, and it hasn't affected how it looks from a distance, but up close you can see it — and for a jacket this eye-catching, you want it looking sharp at every angle. Overall though, a cracking piece — bold, fun, and a little bit daft in the best possible way. 4/5
