How should shoes fit for hiking?
When choosing hiking shoes, aim for a fit that is snug all over, without being tight, and allows you to wiggle your toes. If shoes are too tight, they can be uncomfortable and cause blisters. Shoes that are too loose might cause your feet to slip, resulting in chafing. The Skychaser GORE-TEX features an innovative interior lining construction that enables heel lockdown and out-of-the-box comfort.
How do I clean GORE-TEX shoes?
Carefully wipe away any dirt with a soft cloth and lukewarm water, but no detergent. If you want to remove dirt from inside your GORE-TEX footwear, you can use lukewarm water and a small amount of liquid detergent, or a specific functional clothing detergent. What are the benefits of speedlaces?
Speed lacing allows for a lockdown fit for precise footing and quick adjustability for terrain changes. The lace length can be shortened to suit personal preferences, or they can be removed if traditional lacing is preferred.
How do I adjust the speedlaces?
1. Slip on the shoe and pull down on the speedlace toward the top of your foot to tighten it. Adjust the tension until it feels secure, but make sure you can still slip out of the shoe.
2. Remove the shoe once you've found the ideal tightness.
3. On the speedlace pull tab, pop out the adidas logo cover to access the knotted ends of the speedlace.
4. Pull the knotted laces out of the encapsulated area, determine your ideal lace length, and re-tie the knots to shorten the speedlace.
5. Try the shoe back on to confirm that the updated lace length is comfortable and secure.
6. Trim any excess lace length, then seal the new knot ends with a lighter to prevent fraying.
7. Replace the adidas logo cover on the speedlace pull to conceal the knotted ends.
8. For an alternative to cutting the laces, you can wrap the speedlace twice around the lace bungee, or replace the speedlace entirely with traditional laces (not included).

Quality hiking shoe
Usually a uk8 but like my other Adidas trainers I need a uk9 which fits perfectly. The toggle tightening works well and the quality, so far, feels excellent and easy to walk in straight from the box.
