I bought these shoes for a winter time trip to New Zealand. I needed something that would keep my feet comfy, warm, and dry. These shoes are the best. There was really no break in period. They're lightweight and super comfy. They definitely kept my feet warm and dry in New Zealand in wet, cold weather. I have also worn them where I live (Hawaii) to do a few hikes. They don't make my feet too warm and they handle the wet, muddy, rocky terrain very well. I got a different colorway than is available now (kind of a mauve-purple color). They're very sporty looking, but cute. I read reviews and most suggested ordering up in size so I did, but when they arrived they were too big so I ended up exchanging them for my regular size and they fit perfect. The company was quick and easy to help with the exchange. I'd highly recommend these shoes.
